This Evening is for Ladies Only!

Wherever grapes are grown and wine is made, a “Wine Queen” or “Princess” - a female representation of the classic art of winemaking in their region - is elected. For true wine lovers however, it’s not the women on the throne, but those in the cellars who add a feminine touch to the wine experience. 

It’s to these women that we turn our attention at the Ladies Wine Journey event in the Restaurant Zur Weinsteige every November. Wine educator and top former winemaker Roy Blankenhorn will speak about the work of her friends and fellow wine growers and winemakers as well as offer commentary on a special guided tasting of their wines. A unique 4-Course Tasting Menu follows to round out the experience. 



Gentlemen, with the exception of Andreas Scherle and his kitchen and service teams of course, will sadly have to sit this one out - but we would be happy to welcome you to our Gentlemen’s Evening or Culinary Wine Evening instead. 

Treat the woman in your life to an evening that she’s sure to appreciate!


The seating at this event is limited - we encourage you to make your reservation promptly. 


The price per person is 140€ and includes the wine tasting, hors d'oeuvres, 4-course tasting menu with wine pairings, water, espresso and plenty of good conversation!
