Since 1991, when chef Jörg Scherle took over the restaurant, he bravely and creatively combines regional Swabian cuisine with a Mediterranean touch. This notion of cuisine is most welcomed by gourmets and experts. In all the well-known restaurant guides you find excellent critiques of the restaurant, which has been among the top ten in the capital of Baden-Württemberg for more than twenty years.
The same goes for the award-winning wine list and the expert recommendation of wine: from our over 1300 wines Andreas Scherle always choose the one that matches with your menu perfectly. About 1000 wines from Germany are a proof of the local wine expertise and the biggest choice of Riesling wine in the area show the unbelievable variety of this worldwide prized grape.
